Extremely dangerous. If the goal scorer (or any other player) is face down at the bottom, any weight on the rib cage makes breathing very difficult. Ask anyone who has had the misfortune of being restrained by Police or Prison Officers.
Why do it anyway? What's wrong with shaking hands?
Should be banned.

I remember George Parris getting it after scoring the late winner v Watford in about 1987. Got up looking worse for wear and caked in mud.

Even the handshake has changed. It seemed at some stage overnight mankind adopted the (and I had to look the name up) Homie Handshake!?!?! Suddenly it's all over sport like a rash, what was wrong with the old gentlemanly style? I can half understand players using it but I cringe when I see the Officials doing it, I mean can you imagine someone doing it at a Job Interview?!??!

Football was always played at school, until our new Welsh PE instructor Rugby fanatic tuned up and introduced Rugby.
Everyone found the rules confusing. First match ended up with someone Rugby tackling another with both teams piling on top, could hear muffled screams but it was all good japes, kid at the bottom ended up with a broken collar bone and ambulance shipped him off to hospital, never played Rugby again after that as it was banned.

Build the immune system by having lots of dogs and cats around.
It's interesting that two dogs are better than one, and three are better than two.
The same comparison hasn't been done with cats, but I'd expect similar results.
